So now I am engaged!! Now I know what it feels like to be on CLOUD NINE... What happened yesterday was best story of my life!
For months I've been thinking of how I am going to propose to my girlfriend Sarah. One day, while I was browsing thru Jessica Claire's website (I am a BIG fan!!), I saw Luke & Alisha's photos (May 9, 2008). Then it hit me, I can totally do this!!! Photographer: Red Andal So I started planning.. I asked a good friend of mine, Red, to send us an email to ask us if we could model for him because he needed some 'couples' shots for his portfolio. Since Sarah knew that I did the same thing when I was starting out, she happily agreed to it! The venue: The Distillery District Looking for a venue is a bit tricky since there are tons of places where we can do this. Then I thought of The Distillery District! I thought that this would be the perfect place, but unfortunately, we would need a permit (not free) to shoot. So I emailed their Weddings and Events coordinator and pleaded my case, hoping that they would give me a free permit. I told them exactly what was gonna happen and assured them that I will not be using the photos for any commercial purposes. Guess what, they gave me a free permit!!! Thank you so much!! The Makeup Artist: Stephanie Daga
I would like to thank Stephanie Daga for a wonderful job as usual! Eventhough she had a very hectic schedule that day, she still managed to do Sarah's makeup @ 7:30am!!! a big THANK YOU!! The Big Day! Ok, after we dropped by Steph's place to do Sarah's makeup, we headed down to The Distillery, set up our stuff and Red started shooting...

We walked around until we found the perfect spot, it started to drizzle, I was so nervous, my heart was beating fast.. I knew I had to do it then because I didn't want the rain to spoil the moment. I knelt down and popped the question... "Sarah, will you marry me?"...
